Grade 5 talks about mentor meeting, pages, e-mail, letter writing etc. And how grade 5 should act like in front of their mentor. Grade 5 is given a red sheet.

⁃ Recite themes
⁃ How to write a quick note - email etiquette, Be formal, not informal, always start with 'dear'(middle school teacher mentors-'dear then last name'.confirm meeting date two days before the meeting (e.g. Dear..... I would like to confirm the meeting on ...of.... best regards.....)at least two days before next meeting! Always finish with 'best regard' or just ' regards' then your last name. Always try make the 'tone' sound positive.
⁃ Next mentor meeting job = red paper, meeting job checklist-IMPORTANT! x2 per group - one for mentor and one for group.
⁃ Today- 1.RESEARCH,RESEARCH,RESEARCH! DONE 2. Read other peoples research and highlight important parts. DONE 3.As a group decide where your research focus is and choose research areas.DOING TODAY!
