Mentor Letter Example

Dear ,

The group would like to thank you for volunteering your time to support us through our exhibition process.

We are very keen to get started working with you and are looking for a time when we can meet with you each week. Could you please send us any times that are convenient for you to meet with us. On the second last page of the mentor handbook you will see our schedule, we will not be available during the blacked out times as they are our specialist times.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and working with you next week.

Regards,

Mentor page template

Your mentor page needs to be set up in an easy way to find information. Here is a template you can use to set your page up.

1. Mentor schedule
Include the times when you will meet and location. e.g.
Monday 3rd April, room 201 11:00 - 11:25
Monday 10th April, room 201 11:00 - 11:25

2. Notes by your scribe for each meeting, these should also include any tasks you need to have done before your next meeting.
This should be like our Notes section on our pages. One person should be in charge of this and follow the scribes guidelines.

3. Emails for that week. Every time you email your mentor you should keep a copy in this page. This also includes the replies that your mentor sends.

4. Picture of your meeting. You will need at least two for your final presentation.

If this page becomes too long, you can set up a second mentor page when it is needed.
